The invitation-only event at the company’s HQ in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire was an overwhelming success. Delegates got a VIP tour of EMS’ innovative Liberty Quad, which links four 13.6m medical trailers together to create a flexible, high-quality healthcare environment for patients.
Delegates travelled from as far away as Newcastle, Hull and Leeds and included experts from architecture, construction, oncology, renal dialysis and audiology. They enjoyed a tour of four medical units, getting to see first-hand some of the latest trailers before they are deployed for projects.
A Liberty Quad is currently being used to provide vital community-based dialysis treatment to patients in North Wales, where Jane Lucy is Acting Renal Matron - Renal Unit. She said: “I have first-hand experience of working with the Liberty Quad and so was excited to be part of this open day. Delegates were overwhelmed by the quality of the vehicles, and I know from answering their questions that they completely surpassed their expectations.”
EMS Healthcare CEO Keith Austin said: “The day was a huge success. It provided a great networking opportunity for healthcare professionals along with a chance to find out about the latest in static and mobile medical trailers that allow them to bring care closer to the community.”
