It rounds off a year of success in management quality for EMS Healthcare, which in July won Silver Investors In People status – an accolade usually reserved for large, corporate firms.
EMS Healthcare passed its surveillance audit for ISO19001 and OHSAS 18001 customer satisfaction and health and safety standards, and its three-year re-accreditation for the environmental standard ISO 14001. The ISO standards are an important quality benchmark for businesses during procurement and when obtaining approval from suppliers.
The auditors’ report also praised the company’s ‘robust’ systems for prompting routine checks and maintenance on its fleet of units, its on-site environmental controls and its tour arrangements.
Keith Austin, Chief Executive Officer at EMS Healthcare, said: “We are delighted to see this further proof of high standards in everything we do at the company. This is all down to the first-class team at EMS, who have had an outstanding year in terms of new contracts and success with existing clients.”
