NHS-Galleri trial
"NHS-Galleri has set a new standard in the speed of set-up and recruitment to clinical trials. Previous trials of this magnitude would typically have taken five times as long."
Professor Peter Sasieni
Professor of Cancer Epidemiology and Director of the Cancer Research UK Cancer Prevention Trials Unit at QMUL (CPTU)
Early detection cancer trial
Together, we're making a difference
Using mobile clinical trials units, we have been able to recruit at speed and scale from some of the most underserved postcodes in the country for the NHS-Galleri project. We receive excellent participant feedback, with 97% rating their experience as good or excellent.
The project trials the Galleri™ blood test which was developed by US firm GRAIL. To take part in trialling, participants are required to attend the mobile units for three blood draws over three years. The test can be used to detect more than 50 types of cancer - including those that are hard to detect, such as pancreatic, head and neck, ovarian and oesophageal cancers.
NHS-Galleri trial is a collaboration with the NHS, GRAIL, The Cancer Research UK and King’s College London Cancer Prevention Trials Unit.

Client testimonial
EMS has fantastic experience in mobile clinics, how to deploy them, how we think about scheduling and making them available to people. Frankly, that experience has been invaluable to us.
