Improving access to essential women's health services
Women's health hubs aim to increase access to care and reduce health inequalities by delivering services in the heart of communities. They allow patients to access the care they need closer to home, helping to ease pressure on waiting lists.
Our women's health hubs can support with:
- Menstrual and menopause treatment
- Pre-conception care
- Breast pain support
- STI and HIV screening
- Pessary fitting and removal
- Contraceptive counselling

Conducted by the Department for Health and Social Care, almost 100,000 women across the UK shared their views:
of respondents said they cannot access services conveniently in terms of location
felt their health condition or disability has impacted their experience in the workplace
thought that women's access to healthcare services had been impacted by COVID-19
Mobile maternity unit
Bringing services into the heart of our communities
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust are using a mobile unit to help to improve access to maternity care within convenient settings.
We're proud to supply the mobile unit, which is supporting them to reduce health inequalities and enhance access to health services in areas where it is most needed.

As part of Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust's national campaign, ‘Eradicate Cervical Cancer’, we supported them with taking health education into communities.
We supported the charity with identifying locations where uptake of cervical screening was low, helping them to engage with communities in accessible settings.

information travel wallets were handed out across 66 events
locations to reach out to women in areas where the cervical screening attendance was low
Improving women's health outcomes
Delivering accessible cervical screening in community settings
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are helping to improve access to care and reduce health inequalities through the Living Well Buses.
The mobile units are providing drop-in cervical screening appointments in accessible settings within the heart of communities.
We're proud to provide the trust with 3 self-drive units, enabling NHS staff to drive to locations and provide a range of clinical services.
